Grillsmith Carrollwood Re-Opens After Fire
Local Bay Area restaurant, Grillsmith, re-opens its Carrollwood location after a kitchen fire forced a ground-up renovation

After suffering a kitchen fire in 2021, the Grillsmith Carrollwood team is finally ready to unveil its all-new, Grillsmith Carrollwood location. The Grillsmith team knows how beloved and missed this location has been and is overjoyed to be able to bring back our familiar flavor missing from the neighborhood! The remodel includes an expanded patio and re-imagined bar dining area.

Focusing on Grillsmith's signature style, the Carrollwood restaurant will offer a core menu consisting of classic fan favorites like Lemon Feta Chicken, Port Wine Filet, and the Caribbean Pumpkin Crab Bisque. Appetizers will include the Insalata Caprese and Crunchy Ahi Tuna. To complete the dining experience, a variety of desserts are offered including a traditional Chocolate Decadence Cake and scratch-made Key Lime Pie.

All Grillsmith restaurants feature a curated wine list and the Carrollwood location will also feature local, specialty, and craft beers on tap. The full bar will offer signature cocktails that include the Dragon Lady and the Smoked Old Fashioned.

"At Grillsmith, we strive to deliver an exceptional dining experience to each and every one of our guests, says Ross Hughes, VP of operations. "The moment you walk through the door, you'll know you're in a restaurant like no other." The intimate dining is designed with a contemporary style; featuring stylish light fixtures, rustic wood wall paneling and a luxe marble bar countertop. It is filled with plush booths and solid wooden tables, creating a modern and inviting atmosphere.

The entire Tampa Bay area is invited to the official grand re-opening on May 1, 2023. The doors will open at 4 p.m. with a ribbon cutting by the Grillsmith leadership team.

If guests can't make it to the official grand opening events, Grillsmith is running a Facebook contest beginning May 8 for a chance to win dinner for two to Grillsmith ($150 value). Four dinner for two prizes will be awarded.
